Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Clocking Clerk to support the Payroll function by ensuring accurate time and attendance records. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring biometric clocking data, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate inputs for payroll processing within a high-volume operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain daily employee clocking's via ERS Biometric | ESS systems
- Identify and resolve time & attendance discrepancies (missing clocking's, overtime, absenteeism)
- Capture and process authorised manual clocking adjustments
- Reconcile attendance data and prepare reports for payroll processing
- Provide accurate inputs into Sage 300 People
- Generate exception and attendance reports for management
- Liaise with line managers and employees to resolve clocking queries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll deadlines

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
- Diploma in HR | Payroll | Administration (advantageous)
1–3 Years Experience in:
- Time & attendance | clocking systems
- Payroll administration
- HR administration in a high-volume environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
