Job summary:
Interstat stationery is looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team in Johannesburg. This role requires a proactive individual with strong sales skills and a passion for building lasting customer relationships.
Job description:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Present and demonstrate our products to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and features.
• Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Provide after-sales support and address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, be self-disciplined, and able to work independently while managing a designated sales territory. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Job Requirements:
• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is essential.
• Minium of 2 years' experience in sales.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Sales & Marketing or a related field will be advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the stationery or related industry.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques and principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
