Job Description

Housekeeping (Room Attendee) is responsible for the following:

  • Changing bed linen and preparing beds;
  • Cleaning rooms, including the balconies and corridors;
  • Replace used towels, sweep and mop floors;
  • Vacuum Carpets and dust furniture;
  • Refill bath care products and restock the mini-bar with beverages and food items;
  • Clean public areas and report all technical issues and maintenance needs.
Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 10 or Matric qualification;
  • 1-2 years of experience in industrial cleaning and room attendant experience

 

Competencies:

Knowledge of the standard operating procedures within the hospitality industry. Sound knowledge of food safety and quality regulations and legislation. 

Industrial cleaning equipment and products. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
