Job Description

Senwes is looking for a Corporate Accountant responsible for delivering accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making, while ensuring strong financial controls and compliance. The successful candidate will also focus on maintaining the integrity of financial data, managing assets effectively, and continuously improving financial processes and efficiencies

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Financial planning and budgeting
  • Oversee daily, monthly, and annual financial processing and reporting activities on SAP.
  • Prepare financial reports, journals, reconciliations, and management reports for decision-making.
  • Maintain and strengthen the financial control environment through regular audits and compliance checks.
  • Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisition, disposal, depreciation, and reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
Job Requirements

Qualifications and experience: Relevant BCom Degree. Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles. CIMA candidates with relevant experience will be considered. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.

Skills: Financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting. Strong knowledge of IFRS (especially IAS16), SAP proficiency,  financial controls and governance, process improvement and automation mindset, time management and ability to meet deadlines.
