Job Description

The Opportunity

This is not an ordinary internship. It is an invitation to shape the future of marketing intelligence within one of South Africa’s most iconic consumer brands. We are seeking a technically gifted, strategically minded intern who thrives at the intersection of data, technology, and business impact.

You will be entrusted with high-impact projects that go beyond reporting, they will transform how we access insights, optimize performance, and elevate customer experience across our portfolio.

Job Requirements

Strategic Projects:

1. Intelligent Insight Access: Design and deploy a solution that makes insights instantly accessible, turning complex datasets and reports into concise, actionable answers for decision-makers.

2. Menu & Pricing Intelligence: Identify high- and low-performing menu items based on sales, frequency, customer feedback, and promotional response. Engineer dashboards and analytical models that reveal which menu items drive repeat visits and profitability. Apply statistical rigor to pricing and promotion strategies to safeguard margin and enhance customer value

3. Customer Voice Dashboard: Consolidate fragmented feedback streams surveys, call centre, online and social media reviews into a unified view that pinpoints friction points to inform customer experience design.

 

Your Profile

· Final-year student or recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline.

· Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

· Strong foundation in data modelling, statistical analysis, and visualization.

Advantageous:

· Knowledge of restaurant/food industry data trends.

· Scientific Computing: MATLAB, Octave

Corporation – general requirements
