Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Category Specialist – Solar to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling all Solar products. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of cutting-edge solar products to residential and commercial clients.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to customers.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams on market trends.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products.
- Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
- Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy and our innovative Solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of sales experience in electrical products, preferably solar.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
