Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair has a vacancy for Temporary Stock & Compliance Assistants at our Head Office. The successful applicant will report to the Stock & Compliance Team Leader.
Job Description
- Perform physical stock counts for airside trolleys and storage areas.
- Accurately record and capture stock data in designated systems.
- Verify that all trolleys are correctly sealed and that stock handling complies with approved procedures.
- Monitor adherence to operational and compliance procedures by both flight crew and catering partners.
Promptly report any discrepancies or instances of non-compliance to management.
- Assist with ad hoc stock control and compliance related activities as required.
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
- Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field (Advantageous);
- 1 year experience in stock control, inventory, compliance monitoring or related (Essential);
- Experience within aviation, catering, or FMCG environments (Advantageous);
- Familiarity with stock management systems and ERP platforms (Advantageous);
- Willing to work overtime and standby;
- Basic stock management principle understanding.
