We’re looking for curious minds and ambitious graduates to join our Graduate Programme for 2026. It’s a journey designed to ignite your potential and empower you to make a lasting impact.

As South Africa’s largest JSE-listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), Growthpoint owns and manages a diversified portfolio of over 490 high-quality commercial, retail, and industrial properties across South Africa, Australia, and Eastern Europe. As a Growthpoint Graduate, you will:

• Apply your academic knowledge in real-world settings.

By the end of the programme, you will be equipped with practical experience, strategic insight, and the confidence to shape your future in the property industry.

Role Location

Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

What to Expect

• An 11-month experience that offers real responsibilities, impactful projects, and continuous learning across South Africa’s leading property portfolio.
• Valuable exposure to different teams, environments, and operations in off-site locations. These experiences, when they arise, are a great way to broaden your perspective and deepen your understanding of the property industry.
• As part of the journey, you will attend a role specific learnership to accelerate your development.

Reporting Manager

Throughout your journey, you will be supported by a Senior Manager who will provide direction, feedback and mentorship to help you grow, learn and thrive in your role.

• Solve real problems: Apply your analytical mindset to improve service delivery and drive continuous innovation across our business.
• Communicate with impact: Craft reports, briefings, articles, and presentations that influence and inspire. 
• Support strategic implementation: Help bring sector-specific recommendations to life by monitoring progress and reviewing action plans.
• Deliver insightful business reports: Tailor your communication to different audiences, ensuring clarity, relevance and measurable outcomes.
• Build meaningful relationships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project groups and key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Be a proactive contributor: Engage fully in meetings, events and team activities, bringing energy, ideas and initiative.
• Own your development: Take charge of your personal and professional growth, with support from mentors and peers.

We welcome graduates with qualifications aligned to the property and built environment sectors, including:

• Construction Studies
• Quantity Surveying

Competencies and Skills

• A sharp analytical mind paired with strong interpersonal skills.
• The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure, even when things get fast-paced.
• Confidence with digital tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A deadline-driven mindset so you are able to manage your time and priorities.
• Strong presentation and communication skills. 
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
