The position is based at our head office in CBD Cape Town.

Job Description

Our Studio in the Marketing Department is looking for a talented, hardworking and passionate Graphic Designer (mid-weight level) to provide design output focused on all our brands including Cape Union Mart / Old Khaki / Poetry / K-Way / Tread+Miller / Keedo. The position is based at our head office in CBD Cape Town.

You’ll be:

  • Designing promotional elements and signage with a strong merchandising focus and clear messaging
  • Visual merchandising and creative conceptualizing
  • Through the line conceptualization
  • Seeing all projects through from concept, design to production
  • Working collaboratively with the Marketing Department on all creative projects in line with brand identity standards
  • Creating designs for digital and social media
Job Requirements

Do you have:

  • Animation Skills (advantageous)
  • 3+ years experience in a graphic design role
  • 1-2 years’ experience in graphic design in a retail environment (advantageous)
  • A diploma / degree in graphic design
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Expert knowledge of print and production processes
  • High level sense of design, typography, layout and photography
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Strong administrative skills
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working on digital design application/system is advantageous
