Job Description
To safely weigh, offload and sample raw materials
BUSINESS PROCESSES
Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality
- Comply with SHEQ Ensure requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
- To ensure adherence to health, safety, environment and risk policies and procedures
Customers:
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Liaise with transport contractors, raw material suppliers and customers
Quality:
- Monitor raw material quality
- Liaise with raw material suppliers to ensure safe offloading
- Inspections of barricade and stockpile daily
- Maintain housekeeping standards around stockpiles and barricades
Ordering:
- Monitor raw material bunker % all the time
- Compile and place raw material orders and schedule deliveries
Receiving:
- Monitor and control offloading and storing of raw materials in the allocated storage areas
- Ensure all raw material signs are in place
- Check receipts vs. orders and capture raw material receipts
Consumption:
- Monitor raw material usage
Stocks:
- Manage stock levels by reporting stockpile and barricade levels
- Manage and report contaminations
GSAP and MES Systems:
- Maintain Raw Material Systems data by taking samples, deliveries to laboratory and daily logging on MES
- Completion of all required documentation
